Personal data includes any information with which a particular individual can be identified, such as a name, address or other similar identifier.
For what purposes do we use your personal data?
We use your personal data for the purpose of concluding contracts and providing accommodation and other services that you order from us.
We also use your personal data for the purpose of organizing customer service. The goal of the customer service organization is to provide our customers with the best possible service, as well as to find ways to improve the service in the future.
We do not use your personal data for purposes other than those indicated above.
What personal data do we process?
We process only those personal data that are required to achieve the above purposes. Typically, such personal data includes the following:

In the event that you ask us to assist in obtaining a visa, we will additionally require your passport data.
How do we ensure the safety of your personal data?
We have taken and support organizational and technical measures to ensure the safety of your personal data.
All devices and servers used to process personal data are protected by passwords, firewalls and antivirus programs.
If any personal data is available in non-electronic form, such data is processed and stored in controlled areas, the access to which of third parties is restricted or closed.
Employees who have access to personal data are limited to employees who need your personal data to organize the provision of services that you purchased from us. All such employees signed non-disclosure agreements and received training in the rules for handling personal data.
In addition to this, we process your personal data only to the extent necessary to achieve the above purpose. When we request your personal data, we try to limit the amount of requested personal data and store personal data for a strictly defined period of time.
In the event of any personal data incident, we are able to notify the relevant authorities of the incident and, if required, the individuals affected by the incident, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

Where do we process your personal data?
Personal data is processed in Finland and Russia. In cases where your personal data is transferred to any of our service providers outside the EU, we preliminarily conclude a Personal Data Processing Agreement with the processor of personal data, which contains standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission on the transfer of personal data to persons located in third countries.
How long do we keep your personal data?
We only store your personal data for as long as is required to fulfill our contractual obligations towards you.
In cases where we store your personal data for purposes other than fulfilling our contractual obligations towards you, such as accounting, we store your personal data only for the time required to fulfill our statutory obligations.

You can request a copy of your personal data from us if you would like to check which personal data concerning you are stored by us.

COTTAGE USE RULES
We kindly ask you to treat the property located in the cottage and the cottage itself with care. Following these rules, you will ensure comfortable rest for yourself and other guests, which will help to avoid trouble. Please remember that if you do not follow these simple rules, you will have to pay additionally for putting the cottage in order and in case of causing damages compensate the losses incurred in full.
1. ARRIVAL
Check-in into the cottage is at 16:00 (local time) or at the time indicated in the voucher. A code for the key box will be provided after 100% payment for accommodation.
If during check-in into the cottage you find out that any equipment inside the cottage, e.g. home appliances or property is out of order or absent, please report this immediately to the Landlord’s representative to the email address info@setl.fi or whatsapp +358 40 120 4993 or to the contact persons whose information is indicated in your voucher.
To avoid accidental shutting of the entrance door, it is recommended to keep the key in the box. If it is necessary to call the cleaning service for opening the doors, a fee of 75€ will be charged to the Renter on the spot.
2. DEPARTURE
Checkout from the cottage is not later than 12:00 (local time). The cottage keys should be left in the same box on the cottage facade.
At the time of checkout, the cottage should be in the same condition as it was at the time of check-in, namely all the cottage property (furniture, equipment, home appliances, tableware, linen, etc.) should be left in their proper places and in order.
3. NUMBER OF GUESTS
The maximum number of residents in the cottage is 8 people, unless otherwise agreed upon beforehand and specified in the voucher.
4. CAUSING DAMAGES
If during living in the cottage any equipment has been broken, the property in the cottage and/or the cottage itself has been damaged, the Renter undertakes to report this immediately to the Landlord’s representative to the email address info@setl.fi or whatsapp +358 40 120 4993.
5. DAILY RULES OF KEEPING THE COTTAGE IN ORDER
Despite the fact that the contract price includes a final cleaning of the cottage, we urge you to keep order in the cottage yourself during the whole period of living there:
DISHES. Please do not forget to wash the dishes in the dishwasher every day. Do not put dirty dishes in the cupboard. Liquid detergent is only for washing the dishes manually, not in the machine. Use special tablets or special powder for the dishwasher.
KITCHEN EQUIPMENT. If during cooking the stove, oven or microwave oven has become dirty, it should be cleaned. If dishes have broken in the freezer, please inform the Landlord’s representative about this.
PRODUCTS. Do not leave perishable products on the table and in the cupboards, do not keep them in the refrigerator longer than necessary to avoid smell. Do not leave food products in the cottage, they should be removed from the refrigerator!
GARBAGE. Please remove garbage and food waste from the cottage to the special containers located in the center of the cottage complex every day. IT IS PROHIBITED to keep bags with garbage in the house or on the terrace!
BED LINEN. Please treat bed linen and towels with care, at checkout leave blankets and pillows on BEDS, do not put them on the floor.
If you do not follow these rules, you will be charged a fee in the amount of double cost of cleaning.
Bed linen is provided in the quantity specified in the voucher. If additional sets are necessary, which have not been specified and paid for beforehand, the Renter will be charged 15€ for a set + 75€ for arrival of the cleaning service on the spot.
ORDER OF ADDITIONAL CLEANING. If additional cleaning or change of linen is necessary during the accommodation in the cottage, these services can be ordered through the Landlord’s representative (chargeable service).
6. TECHNICAL RULES AND FIRE SAFETY
Smoking in all internal rooms of the cottage is strictly PROHIBITED! The fine is 1000€.
When using sauna, it is necessary to switch off the extractor hood above the stove. At this time, it is prohibited to light the fireplace.
When lighting the fireplace, open the valve on the pipe and ensure that the extractor hood above the stove is switched off. When lighting the fireplace, strictly follow the instructions. The instructions are contained in the information folder in each cottage.
Wet clothes in no case can be dried in the sauna, above the oven or on radiators in the rooms! There is a big risk of inflammation!
Candles can be lit only in candle holders. Avoid appearance of hot wax on the surface of tables, the fireplace, shelves, etc.
It is prohibited to use pyrotechnical devices (fireworks, firecrackers, Bengal fire, crackers) in the house. There is a big risk of inflammation!
It is prohibited to spoil flowerbeds and lawns.
7. USE OF PROPERTY IN THE TERRITORY OF THE COTTAGE COMPLEX
In both cottage complexes there are:
Bicycles. During the spring-autumn period you can use the bicycles which are located near your cottage.
Snow saucers. In winter time you can use snow saucers, which are kept in the utility area or in the cottage.
Tahko hills:
Grill house. A grill house is provided for each pair of cottages (free of charge). Please put the grill house in order after use. Do not leave garbage, food or dishes in the grill house. Fishing*. You have to obtain a national license yourself. Everyone aged from 18 to 65 who is going to fish must have it. A national license can be obtained in R-Kioski.
* The guests shall provide themselves with fishing tackle on their own.
Hot tub. The terraces of some cottages (I160, L160, K139) are equipped with a hot tub (for supplement). Use is allowed only in case of strict observation of the instructions (available in the cottage). It is strictly prohibited to bathe animals in the hot tub.
It is strictly prohibited to use personal hot tubs or those rented in another place without approval of the owner! Children’s playground. In the center of the cottage complex there are a children’s playground, a seesaw and a sand-pit.
Pier with a boat. During the period of “open water” the guests of the cottages are allowed to use the pier and rowing motor boats located near the pier.
The battery, electric motor, oars, life jackets and boat keys are located in the utility building – the first door on the left. Please return the equipment to its place immediately after use.
Saimaa Lakeside:
Shore sauna. You can use the shore sauna located near the cottage. You can take firewood for the sauna from under the shed near the hangar located in the center of the cottage complex beside the sports arena. The cottages С135 / D 135, G 175 / H 175 have one shore sauna for each pair of cottages. The priority of use is indicated in the voucher.
You must put the sauna in order immediately after use.
Gas grill. There is a gas grill on the cottage terrace, which is intended for cooking only outdoors. Do not leave the working grill unattended. It is necessary to wash the gas grill grids after every use.
Arranged place for fire. There is a place on the lake shore near the cottage for making a fire and cooking on a grill. The grill is mounted on the spot and skewers are in cottage kitchen.
Pier with a boat. During the period of “open water” the guests of the cottages are allowed to use the pier and rowing motor boat located near each cottage. You have to charge the battery for the motor yourself on the terrace of the shore sauna.
Fishing. The cottage complex has a regional license for bait fishing (fishing with spinning tackle or spoonbait – not more than one fishing rod for person)*. This license covers fishing on the local Saimaa lake at a distance of not more than 300 meters from the shore.
*You have to obtain a national license yourself. Everyone aged from 18 to 65 who is going to fish must have it. A national license can be obtained in R-Kioski.
* The Renter and guests shall provide themselves with fishing tackle on their own.
Hot tub. The terraces of the shore saunas of the cottages E135 and B148 are equipped with a hot tub (for supplement). Use is allowed only in case of strict observation of the instructions (available in the cottage). It is strictly prohibited to bathe animals in the hot tub.
It is strictly prohibited to use personal hot tub or those rented in another place without approval of the owner! Sports ground and children’s playground. In the center of the cottage settlement there is a sports ground, where you can play football, volleyball, basketball and lawn tennis. There is an excellent playground for children with a seesaw, a slide, a trampoline and a sand-pit. You can take sports equipment from the hangar near the sports ground. Please return the equipment to its place immediately after use.
8. PAYMENT & CANCELLATION POLICIES
You will be charged a prepayment of the deposit 30% of the total price at any time of the reservation. The balance 70% should be paid 30 days before the arrival. The guest will be charged the whole payment of the total price if the guest makes reservation in less than 59 days before arrival.
The guest can cancel free of charge until 60 days before arrival. The guest will be charged the total price of the reservation if they cancel within 60 days of arrival.
Taxes and service charges
10 % VAT is included. A City tax is not applicable. A Property service charge is not applicable.
Child policies
Children of any age are welcome.
Children aged 5 years and above are considered adults at this property.
The price shown is for the number of adults in your search. If you are travelling with children, please inform us to get correct price and occupancy information.
