Tahko zipline

Near cottage complex Tahko hills at the end of 2023 Tahko ski resort opened a new attraction called Tahko zipline. It's a high-speed descent on a metal cable with a special mechanism.
Tahko zipline has a height difference of 140 metres.
The descent starts from the upper platform at the top of Tahko slopes, passes over Lake Suuvari and ends at the platform near the Piazza restaurant. There are no structures between the departure and landing area, allowing for a gentle ride. The downhill speed is up to 50 kilometres per hour.

However, please follow some important rules for safe operation:

• The participant's weight must be at least 40kg and no more than 120kg;
• It is possible to descend alone, in pairs and in groups;
• The ziplie does not operate in bad weather (strong wind, fog, rain, heavy frost);
• It is not recommended to descend under the influence of alcohol;
• Do not descend if you have health restrictions: epilepsy, heart failure, etc.
• The cost for individual descents and for small groups of up to 10 people is 49 euros per person. Equipment, instruction and rappelling are included in this price.

If you are planning a descent for a large group, it is better to contact the organisers https://www.tahkozipline.fi/.

You will get:

• 800 metres of climbing;
• 1054 steps of various heights;
• platforms with benches for resting;
• magnificent views along the entire length of the trail;
• and even more magnificent views at the top.

Please note that the stairs are wooden and no sharp sticks may be used. The stairs are open in summer and autumn when there is no snow.
We recommend climbing to the top only in comfortable sports shoes. Be sure to take water and mosquito repellent with you.
